And one of the most awesome things about writing is talking about it. Spilling the beans all over the floor. You can talk to yourself, to people you trust, OR… You can do this super cool tag. Talk about options.
I was tagged by le awesome Rachel, who I sincerely thank. I am obliged to you, kind blogger.
- Thank your nominator: check.
- Answer at least 8 questions about writing: coming up.
- Nominate at least 5 people: ooookay?
When did you first start writing?
HAHAHAHA funny question. I started writing ever since I was BORN. Okay, maybe not. I wrote some really weird stories when I was six, and even weirder poems. But hey, I was just SIX. That means I was in KINDERGARTEN. Close enough??
Have you always been interested in writing?
Eh… yes. Except I never thought of it as a profession before. But writing has been a part of my life for really, really long, and now it’s even a BIGGER part because I’m a decent writer.
Why do you like writing?
*scowls* What does yeh mean? WHY WOULD SOMEONE NOT LIKE WRITING??
Okay, I get that I need to be more specific for all the confused little beans. Writing lets me do ANYTHING. That means impossible isn’t even a WORD. Uh… Okay, it is a word, because then Grammarly would’ve made that annoying red line under it, but you get the point. I can make people cry, I can make people laugh, I can make people want to rip the sky apart…
What genre do you write in?
I write realistic fiction most of the time. I hope you get what I mean? But right now, I’m working on a novel with my cousin. WAHOOO!!! (Thanks for the motivation, May, I owe you one)
Who or what motivates you to write?
Quotes. Enough said??
Do you write poetry?
YES. I love poetry. Though I rhyme a lot. But I have done some decent improvements this April and have left my comfort zone for a bit. I’ve started writing stuff that doesn’t rhyme, often known as free verses. And I would also like to mention that I AM ALIVE ON MY NAPOWRIMO PAGE. You can check it out here.
Have you ever written a story with a friend?
Erm… yes, but it came out as a wackadoodle jumble of nonsense about a pig called Piggy. *hides*
How do you write your stories (first person or third person, past tense or present tense?
My writing style is usually the first person past tense, but I’m currently building up on my third person. Wish me luck, please.
Where do you see yourself writing-wise in one month? One year? Ten years?
ONE MONTH: (Hopefully) having had my first book published??
ONE YEAR: Having finished writing my current work??
TEN YEARS: Staring at a blank screen with a blank head???
Jeez, that answer was stupid.
There we are.
Let’s get on with the nominees:
…aaaannnddd YOU. #cliche
I would like to inform all the nominees that I am an utterly uninformed elf and have absolutely no idea whether you have done this tag before. Regards.
Does yeh like to talk about writing?
Got any third person writing tips (please)?
